Our Color Zone Distribution Table
Our standard aligns with the American National Standard ANSI C78.377, the foundational standard for chromaticity binning of solid-state lighting. Per ANSI C78.377-2017, this standard defines eight nominal correlated color temperatures (CCT): 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 4500K, 5000K, 5700K and 6500K.
Each CCT corresponds to a quadrangular color tolerance region plotted on the CIE 1931 chromaticity diagram. Key parameters are as follows:
Duv tolerance: ±0.006 (maximum deviation from the black-body locus)
CCT tolerance increases with rising color temperature: ±145K for 2700K, ±510K for 6500K
This means higher color temperatures feature wider tolerance ranges—cool white light allows greater fluctuation in chromaticity coordinates than warm white light.
